C. PART-TIME COURSES FOR INDUSTRIAL WORKERS

Admission under this scheme is made around July/August every alternate year. These classes are held thrice a week from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. At present such training is imparted in following five trades only:-

D. SPECIAL COMPONENT PROGRAMME FOR S/C & S/T

For the welfare of S/C & S/T candidates, courses for 3 months duration are also conducted in following 3 trades:-

F. TRADE TEST FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES

There also exists a scheme wherein a skilled person can appear in the final examination along with the regular candidates of ITI and after qualifying this trade test one becomes entitled for a certificate.

Such candidates must possess the same qualification, which is needed for regular admissions, and possess minimum five years experience in a government organization or reputed establishment, approved and registered for the purpose. Advertisement for this usually appears in August/September every year and one can get relevant details and the form personally from the office of Directorate of Training and Technical Education.

Examination is held in and around February/March of the subsequent year.
