History of the Institute

   

      Women’s Polytechnic later named as Meera Bai Polytechnic was established on 1962, with Interior Design, Arch. Assistt., Medical LabTech, Commercial Art, Library Science and Sect. Practice (E). In 1963 Elex. & Comm Engg. started functioning. In 1975 Beauty Culture and 1990  Pharmacy were started.In 1999 Sect Practice(E) was replaced with Modern Office Practice(English/Hindi).

   

            This polytechnic has been awarded the Best Polytechnic of Delhi for the year 2004-05   and one of the Best Polytechnic in the Northern region
