A.   Under Right to Information Act 2005

Deputy Director (Admn), is the State Public Information Officer at the DTTE (Head Quarters).

Joint Director (Planning) is the First Appellate Authority at the Department of Training and Technical Education.

State Public Information Officers and Assistant State Public Information Officers at each Institute are different.

Technical Education Community Outreach Scheme (TECOS)

TECOS is a step in the direction of developing, maintaining and improving the Training and Technical Education services for enabling people from under privileged section of society to earn self /wage employment by acquiring various technical skills.

 

The salient features of the scheme are as under:

NGOs are participating with the Department of Training and Technical Education in the process of implementation of Technical Education Community Outreach Scheme (TECOS). The training would be provided on the pattern of Modular Employable Skill scheme of DGT, Govt. of India.

 

Present Status of TECOS

Presently, 11 NGOs, under supervision of 9 ITIs, are imparting skill training in 17 Modules of 5 Sectors.
